ABOUT RMT’s
Sam, RMT
Sam became a massage therapist because of her curiosity towards holistic health and her devotion to helping others. Whether it be chronic pain, injury-related or simply reducing the toxic effects of stress, she strives to assist each client in restoring balance physically and energetically. Sam is trained in Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Pre/Post Natal, sound healing, and she is a certified Tantra Yoga Instructor. Her sessions utilize a broad scope of techniques combined with an intuitive and compassionate approach.
Outside of her work, Sam is a devoted mother, avid hiker, and loves to sing.
Jordyn, RMT
Jordyn studied at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Ontario then moved West. She first offered massage in Squamish until she moved to Nelson to study Chinese Medicine.
Jordyn started her healing journey when she was 18 and completed her first Yoga Teacher Training. Since then she's studied in Thai Massage, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Sound Healing, and Prenatal Massage. She is also a trained Doula and puts a lot of care towards mothers. Outside of her RMT work, she is a skilled Astrologer and spends her time reading the wisdom of the cosmos!
Laura, RMT & Owner Himalaya Salt Cave
Laura loves being a massage therapist! She started her massage career alongside physiotherapists working with athletes and traumatic injury. Treatments include therapeutic, relaxation, deep tissue or light pressure. Laura’s post-RMT training includes Myofascial Release, Craniosacral, Thai Massage, Reiki, Sound Healing, and an Osteo-based course series called the Anatomy of Trauma.
Laura is very passionate about the wisdom of the body and our potential to heal in all the ways. Creating a space so that you can drop in deep and leave feeling amazing. Work with Laura to fix your injuries or expand your consciousness - or both.
Outside of work, Laura has an affinity for wild outdoor adventures. When you get a massage with Laura you will meet a sweet Austrialian Shepherd named Bear.
