Wear comfortable clothes and stay hydrated. Tune into how you are feeling, and what your intentions may be for your healing session. It’s ok if you don’t have an intention, you can always choose to allow the subconcious wisdom to guide the treatment.

what to do after a reiki treatment

Be gentle with yourself, drink lots of water and rest as needed. Keep listening to your body, subtle sensations and intuitions that arise. Pay attention to your dreams! The reiki treatment continues to work in the days following the treatment.

Reiki is a deeply relaxing and restorative treatment for health and wellness. It balances the energy centres (chakras), clears energy that is not our own, unblocks stuck energy, allows energy to flow to where it is needed, and allows the inner wisdom to heal the body, mind and spirit. Reiki is great for sleep, mood, stress, emotions, headaches, chronic pain, and connecting to yourself, your truth, and intuition.

Reiki treatments are conducted on a massage table. You are fully clothed during a reiki session. The reiki therapist works with a combination of light touch on the body, and with the hands a few inches or a few feet away from the body, in the energy field, the aura. The intention is set for you to receive energy for healing whatever you need. The therapist will work as they feel guided, and your subconscious will go into a state of intuitive healing.
